Scare the Bear (STB) is more than just the name of our investment company, its our mission and our business philosophy. We help small businesses show the strength and maturity of mid-tier to large businesses. These businesses can then command the level of valuations typically reserved for their larger colleagues.

Traditional private equity playbook is to identify companies in need of help, buy those companies at a low valuation, and work together with founding owners to improve. The PE firm (and not the founding owners) then capitalizes on the majority of the value increase.
